Awhile back, I did a blog on the relationship between people and profits where I made the connection between happy employees and a more profitable company.  Today I want to take this concept one step further with the rather bold statement that

Companies with high employee turnover are rarely associated with quality products.

If you think about it, you can see why this might be true. It is very hard to be consistent (which I believe is a key criteria of true quality) if you have a revolving door of people responsible for making the product or even monitoring the machine making the product.

What do you think is key to a quality product? Do you think employee turnover has any impact?
