Actually, ode to any events or activities you hold for your employees in the summer.  It’s a great time of year for a fun, family friendly (or not) party that allows your employees to laugh, blow off steam, reconnect and/or build new relationships, and generally have a good time.  Even if summer is your busy season, an after hours wine and cheese goes a long way towards rejuvenating employees for the home stretch and an end of season fiesta is a great way to show your appreciation for a season well played.

Beyond the teambuilding and the fact that it is a mechanism to say thanks or to revitalize, regular company and team events contribute to a healthy, happy crew and high morale.

So pull out the hibachi’s or grills, the ice filled coolers, and water toys, head to a beach or book out a venue and bring your team together for some fun before the summer creeps away.
